An Town in Binghamton man is in the hospital for what appears to serious injuries from the blaze at his home on the 24th and 25th of April.
The fire department was able to respond to a house on 3007 Hance Road at around 11:36 p.m.
Another alarm was raised and firefighters remained at the scene for two hours before returning at their posts shortly before 2 a.m.
The wife of the victim is believed to have called the police about the fire, which left the house badly damaged. The reason for the fire is being investigated, however the heating system in the house could be at fault.
The name of the man and his condition aren’t available.
The firefighters and the equipment of Town of Binghamton, Conklin, Five Mile Point, Endicott, Silver Lake, Vestal as well as The City of Binghamton were on the scene as did officers from the Broome Sheriff’s office. They also included firefighters, investigators and ambulance teams.
