A three-judge majority composed of three judges from the Pennsylvania Superior Court found that the arbitration contract at issue in the matter of Waters v. Express Container Services of Pittsburgh was valid and enforceable. The verdict was announced on October. 18, and overturned a ruling that was made by the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas who dismissed the case in the initial objections stage.
